Jaala Tomat v Krystina-Maree Jacobs
The fight stared with Krystina moving forward and being effective with good punches to the head and body. The second round saw Jaala, who had a sizable reach and height advantage, settle into a rhythm of straight left and right hands, and which Krystina found difficult to combat. As the contest progressed, Krystina began to counter Jaala and may have had the advantage over the last few rounds. After a very hard contest Jaala Tomat won by majority decision: 76/76, 78/74, 77/75.
The ANBF congratulates Jaala on becoming the ANBF Women’s Featherweight champion.
