Alec Kumar wins Victorian Vacant Silver Lightweight Title by unanimous decision.
This bout took place at the Melbourne Pavilion on the 22nd of June, the the card was promoted by Brian Amatruda Big Time Boxing.
The fight got of to a slow start with both fighters being cautious in the opening round.
Round two Kumar started coming forward and landing some head and body shots to close the round. Round three Kumar sent Singh to the canvas with a body shot, Singh
was on his feet on six and the fight continued with Singh keeping Kumar at bay to close the round. The next three rounds Kumar continued to score while Singh seemed happy
to fight a defensive fight. After six rounds of boxing Alec Kumar was crowned the new Victorian Silver Lightweight Champion by scores of 59-54 58-55 60-53
