Cutting lands big shots in Womens ANBf Featherweight Title

Ultimate legends promotions and the West End Market Hotel Melbourne was host on October 5th to the anticipated womens featherweight showdown between Australian featherweight champion Jaala Tomat and the aggressive hard hitting  challenger Steph Cutting. Both ladies making weight comfortably and you could tell they had both put the  hard work in.

The West End Hotel was overflowing with excitement and after an amazing undercard the scene was set for these ladies to compete for the Anbf featherweight title. They began there ring walk with the challenger Steph Cutting making her presence felt and her support base was lifting the roof off the venue. The defending champion Jaala Tomat jogged to the ring sporting her red and white apparel with an abundance of support right behind her.

With both ladies receiving their final instructions in centre ring they locked eyes and the crowd went silent. On the ring of the bell both ladies came forward with bad intentions and traded blow for blow. With Jaala being a south paw she was cut in the first minute with an accidental head clash, this did not effect Tomat. Tomat was a fast starter moving well and landing great shots early on in the fight. Cutting was definitely tested early, took some big shots and looked to have the title up against her. After round 3 Cutting took it to another level, she starting walking down Tomat. The challenger Cutting landing big shots, her work rate was superb. The crowd lifted and we had a contender for fight of the year. Both ladies traded blow for blow throughout the 8 championship rounds with Cutting landing the heavier shots, walking forward and wanted the title and it was the title she earned. With the judges scores 77-75 Cutting 76-76 77-75 Cutting .Our new featherweight champion and still undefeated.
