Female Vacant Australasian Super Featherweight Title.
This Bout was held on a well run Promotion at the Dee Why RSL Club in Sydney on October 28Th. The two combatants were Katelan Stack v Sara Jalonen. Stack having travelled from Perth WA looked fit and ready to go as did her Sydney based Opponent Jalonen. This was to be Referred by Dean Cambridge who did a Professional job although it seemed his presence was not required often during a well fought clean Bout.
From the first bell both Boxers were into action, with no requirement for a warm up they both punched quickly and with accuracy. The action continued with many closely fought rounds, however Jalonen had a slightadvantage each round and was mostly in control. This did not deter the fast moving and brave Stack who on many occasions was beaten to the punch did not lose enthusiasm and continued to move forward.
The action action continued for the 6 x 2 Minute rounds and when the final scores were announced Sara Jolonen was declared Winner via a unanimous points Decision, and the New Australasian Female Super Featherweight Champion.
