DYLAN BIGGS (CHAMPION) vs NIKITA TSZYU (CHALLENGER)
It was an electrifying atmosphere at the Entertainment Centre, with the crowd on their feet for the main event of the
evening. The champion made his entrance into the ring first, followed by the challenger.
It was a slow start for Tszyu who was knocked down for a count of eight within the first minute by a stunning right hand
from Biggs. Tszyu regained his composure and quickly recovered to get on with the job. He had Biggs in trouble within
the first couple of rounds. Biggs responded with some heavy punches but by the fourth round Tszyu was well in control.
A brave Biggs came out in the fifth round only to be dropped by a barrage of punches and be stopped by the referee just
before the bell sounded for the end of the round.
Nikita Tszyu was declared the new AUSTRALIAN NATIONAL BOXING FEDERATION SUPER WELTERWEIGHT CHAMPION
