This Bout for the Vacant ANBF Female Australasian Middleweight Title was scheduled to be decided at the Hornsby RSL Club in Sydney on Saturday 25 Th. November. The two Boxers who were to be deciding the Holder of this Vacant Title were Connie Chan who had previously engaged in 9 Bouts while Kaye Scott was engaging in her first Professional Bout having been in many Amateur Bouts in various Countries of the World.
The Bout was off to a quick start with both Boxers going into action immediately, there was no warming up process what so ever. The action was greater and more complete from Scott and she clearly won the first Round. Scott dominated the action throughout with Chan never giving up however she was clearly outclassed by her taller more skilled Opponent. The action was very busy, however Scott proved her dominance in every round by using her height and reach to full advantage. The control of the Bout was in the hands of Referee Leanne Reid who handled the action confidently. At the conclusion of the 8 Round journey the crowd happily applauded the unanimous Winner Kaye Scott with loud applause for Victory.
