Last night the 9th Sept the Australian Cruiserweight title was contested at Eaton’s Hill, QLD.
Ben Kelleher was making a defence against Luke Modini.
The opening round was a quiet one with neither really wanting to press the action.
In round 2, Modini hit Kelleher with a left uppercut that put Kelleher down for the full count.
Luke Modini is the new Australian Cruiserweight Champion. This adds to his Australasian title.
As per rule 85 (12), he will have one month to decide which title to keep.
