Australian Super lightweight Title 18th June Gold Coast Convention centre
Hassan Hamdan emerged as the victor of the super lightweight title against Champion Justin Frost. Hamdan recorded a Technical decision win after 4 completed rounds. Frost being four rounds behind and Hamdan maintaining a dominant position, a clash of heads occurred in the fourth round, leading referee Paul Tapley to call for the doctor to examine the resulting cut. Following the round, the cut was re-examined, and both Doctor Conville and Referee Paul Tapley unanimously agreed to halt the fight.
