Gaige Ireland has become a 2 time Australian Lightweight Champion with a TKO4 victory over Brent Rice. Rice ahead on points received a nasty cut in round 4 which referee Steve marshall deemed was caused by a punch. The Dr was called on to inspect and the fight was immediately halted at 1:01 of the round.
Herman Ene Purcell has claimed the vacant Australasian Heavyweight title with his MD win over Will Nasio. Both fighters traded heavy shots at times, but ulike the first bout, neither fighter went down. These two are 1-1 now and Nasio has called on Herman for a third fight to decide the series. Scores were 77-76, 77-76 and 76-76.
Jamie Hilt has secured the vacant Australasian Super Lightweight title with his MD8 victory over Ash Huston. Scores were 79-74, 78-74 and 76-76.
