ANBF Men’s Australian Light Flyweight title.

4 April 2025:  Australian Light Flyweight Title

On 4th April 2025 at the Melbourne Pavilion, Kha Lu and Daniel Anderson completed for the vacant ANBF Men’s Australian Light Flyweight title.   This was a great contest in the making and it did not disappoint.   In 2024 Kah Lu had had an Australian title fight withdrawn and the last moment, and this was Daniel Andreson’s first professional contest.   Daniel Anderson towered over Kha Lu in height and had a large reach advantage.

The fight started with Kha Lu moving in a out with a hit and not be hit strategy. This was how Kha Lu fought throughout the fight. Daniel used his reach and fast punches and caught Kha Lu a number of times.   The fight was fought with great determination by both boxers, with great skills, and at an extremely high pace.   At the final bell both sides thought their boxer had done enough to get the nod.

The final scores were 95/95, 96/94, and 97/93, for the winner and Men’s Australian Light Flyweight champion, Kha Lu.

The ANBF congratulates Kha Lu and becoming the Men’s Australian Light Flyweight champion and Daniel for such a performance on his profession debut.
