The Australian Super Welterweight title between Desley Robinson and Millicent Agboegbulen was set to be a super fight and the boxers provided exactly that.
The pattern of the fight from the start was Desley moving forward but with Millicent using footwork and speed to out punch Desley over the first half of the fight. The second half of the fight saw Desley starting to land with heavier and clean punches. Many of the rounds were very close between the two boxers.
The judges scorecards reflected the closeness of the fight with Millicent winning a majority point decision 76/76, 78/75, 78/74.
Millicent was jubilant after the decision was announced.
