Justis Huni defending his heavyweight title
The main event gave us Justis Huni defending his heavyweight title for the first time, against Arsene Fosso, who medalled in the 2017 World Amateur Championships.
Fosso, originally from Cameroon, but boxing out of Canberra, showed incredible resilience and toughness. For 4 rounds he took some Hunis best shots and showed no signs of going down.
Huni used his dazzling hand speed to land hard and flush combinations to the head and body from the very start, by round 4, some real venom was added and referee Phil Austin was given no choice but to save Fosso from his own bravery.
