Jai Alexander and Masing Warawara fougt for the vacant ANBF Australasian featherweight title on Saturday 14th September 2019. The fight started with Jai landing more and heavier punches and appearing to win the first two rounds. After this, Masing, showing fast hand speed, started landing clean punches. Round 3 to 7 were very close with Masing showing a higher work rate and landing consistently, while Jai landed the heavier punches. Jai rallied in the last round, but which was still close. The final scores reflected the very competitive nature of the fight. This was Jai winning on a split points decision. We congratulate Jai on becoming the ANBF Australasian featherweight champions.
