Kyle Wright V Kieran Cronin Vic Title
Jyl Wright 5-1-1(3) captured the vacant State Victorian State Welterweight Title via third round TKO over Kieran Cronin 7-3-1 (3) at the Malvern Town Hall on Friday the 15th Of December. The bout took place on the undercard of the WBC Asia Super Bantamweight clash between Urvashi Singh 10-3-(6) and Thanchanok Phanan 15-9 (9) of Thailand.

The fight got off to a quick start with Wright taking control with precision head and body shots. Round Two Wright continued to find the mark which were starting to take their toll on Cronin.Round three Cronin was sent to the canvas with a three punch combination. Cronin survived an eight count and Referee Malcom Bulmer sent Cronin to the ring doctor for assessment. The ring doctor stopped the bout 1.40 seconds into round three to avoid Cronin further punishment.
Jyl Wright had his arm raised and Crowned the new Victorian State Welterweight Champion.
