VACANT ANBF AUSTRALASIAN WOMEN’S WELTERWEIGHT TITLE – ARLENE BLENCOWE V NADIA FLALHI
Blencowe led from the opening round scoring with jabs to her opponent’s head. In the first few rounds there was not much resistance from Flalhi who kept stepping back to avoid Blencowe’s attack. Flalhi’s longer reach was no advantage to her as she kept missing her mark and barely touching her opponent. Flalhi traded a few punches in round six but her courage was not enough to gain her the points.
Arlene Blencowe became the new ANBF Australasian Welterweight Champion by unanimous decision.
