A very well organised event by Neutral Corner Fight Promotions at Dunc Gray Velodrome, Bass Hill, NSW for the Vacant Australian Bantamweight Title between Caden Crawford from Queensland and Beau Piggott from Victoria.
From the opening bell, it was obvious this was going to be a well matched bout. Crawford commenced the first round with strong jabs to head and body and Piggott responded with blows to his opponents head. A very busy first round awarded to Crawford. Piggott picked up the next two rounds, often switching to southpaw stance. Crawford calmly stalking Piggott and both boxers stayed busy, keeping up the pace until the end. After ten exciting rounds, Crawford was awarded the fight by split points decision.
