ANBF – (VACANT) MEN’S AUSTRALIAN FEATHERWEIGHT TITLE
Scheduled for ten x 3 minute rounds between Tyler Blizzard from Tasmania and Connor Read from South Australia. Both fighters presented themselves extremely fit and engaged as soon as the bell rang for the opening round. Read took the lead for the first two rounds and Blizzard responded well with some solid body shots after being caught on the ropes in round 2. Read slowed the pace in round 3 – Blizzard gaining the upper hand. Read was in difficulty by the end of round 3 and retired in his corner after being checked by the doctor for a back injury. Tyler Blizzard becomes the new Australian Featherweight Champion with a record of eight fights – eight wins.
