On the 11th of November 2023 Jaala Tomat and Ayisa Abied,squared off for the vacant ANBF Australasian Featherweight Title at the StKilda Town Hall. From the first bell Tomat used her height and reach to advantage. After 6 competitive rounds of boxing, we went to the judges score cards. Jaala was declared the new Champion via a split decision.
