Australasian Female Lightweight title – 14th September, Seagulls Tweed Heads.
Rachel Loder of Tweed Heads fought Quinita Hati of New Zealand for the vacant Australasian Female Lightweight title.
The 6 round fight was high action with both girls landing telling blows. Rachel was instructed to go to work to the body and Quinita landing her own heavy head punches.
At the final bell, the 3 ringside judges declared a SD victory for Rachel Loder with scores of 60-54 for Hati, 58-56 for Loder, and 58-56 for Loder.
Congratulations to Rachel Loder for becoming the first Australasian Women’s Champion.
