Lucas Miller defeated Mitchell Middleton Clark in a competitive 8 round contest. The fighters were cautious for the first 90 seconds before beginning an exchange of power punches that lasted the entire fight. Clark was stunned by a right hook half way through round 3 that saw Miller control the remainder of the round. Miller came out for round 4 with confidence but Clark held his own and landed counter shots in the latter part of the round that slowed Miller’s effectiveness. The crowd was on its feet as the bell ended round 6 during which Miller had caught Clark with another right hook that cut him below the eye. The cut was checked by the doctor before round 7 proceeded with Miller moving and landing well-timed punches and Clark finishing with effective counter shots. Both fighters gave their all in the final round. Scores were 77-76, 76-76 and 77-75.
